Since the start of the pandemic working from home has become much more common. While certain industries have had issues adjusting, others welcomed the change, and a few have already been operating on this model. Overall, everyone has had their own path to pave when it comes to this new form of working.

Of course, even those who initially had issues are now progressing. Some of this progress can be attributed to time and practice. Employees have improved at balancing their breaks, during which they can enjoy the best new online casinos as well as other fun activities, and productive time. For certain employees, though, this is easier said than done.

However, there is also an abundance of new technology that helps make working from home that much easier. It ranges from improvements that pertain directly to the employees’ industries to general quality-of-life improvements.

Although working from home itself has proved to boost efficiency and productivity, scientists and inventors are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience. We’ll list some of the most impressive technology that is set to revolutionize working from home below.

#1: On-the-move offices

This seems like a fancy way to say taking your laptop out to your local Starbucks. However, it’s so much more than that. If you want to take your office on the road with you, you’ll be able to do it soon!

Nissan, the Japanese automobile company, has revealed a revolutionary new vehicle design that features an office built into the back. While this is still a concept, it could make traveling without taking a vacation much easier.

It’s also a great improvement for those looking to live in vans! If you’ve ever wanted to connect with nature and enjoy some sunlight while working, you’ll be happy to know that Nissan’s vehicle concept also includes an option to extend the platform the office is standing on. It’s a whole new way to enjoy a beautiful day while at work!

However, it’s important to note that this is still a concept they’re working on. As a result, we might see some drastic changes between this version and the finished product. This is almost always the case with revolutionary inventions.

#2: New ways to hold meetings

If you’re working an office job, you’re probably spending a lot of time in meeting rooms. When we translate this into work-from-home language, you’re always on Zoom.

However, there are a number of issues that can arise on this platform and others similar to it. Microphone and webcam issues as well as network issues are just some. New technology could also play a big part in how offices hold their meetings.

The two main improvements are VR meetings and holographic meetings. Both of these methods involve avatars, although VR meetings are looking to bring the employees to a whole other environment. On the other hand, holographic meetings are looking to bring each employee’s avatar into the other’s workspace. Facebook is also working on a virtual office for the same reasons.

Although these methods are still undergoing testing, they could stand to benefit employees’ productivity across many industries.

#3: Futuristic working pods

The thought of all your work necessities fitting into one small pod is almost ludicrous at the moment. However, Jupe is a company that has envisioned such a future.

These small pods are sure to make the most out of the space you have at home. This solution arose from employees’ lack of space at home to make a proper work corner.

But the fact that they save space in your home isn’t their only function. The company’s product, Jupe pods, should also have a positive effect on employees’ moods. In turn, this could prove to be very efficient for increasing workers’ productivity.
