Unexpected challenges. Given the complexity of the systems that need to work together, it is not possible to add capacity to the “Europe Central” data center. Instead, Smilegate and Amazon Games have partnered to introduce a new data center for European players with just five. Japan-“Western Europe”-To meet regional demand. For further clarification, the terms “Central Europe” and “Western Europe” are the names of specific data centers and do not refer to the geographical regions of Central Europe. ..
“Since it opened four days ago, the new’Western Europe’data center now houses just under 20% of European players and is growing day by day. Cue time is very frustrating for players and it is advisable to check this. In the new data center, peak queues have already been reduced by 48%. We are closely monitoring this number while we are continuously working to further improve the queue time. “

Due to the complexity of all the systems we need to work with, we can’t add more servers.”
The EuropeWest server created To explain the popularity of the game. However, there is currently no server forwarding feature. So this new server is just an option for new players or players who are willing to lose their progress.
“We’ve definitely heard the request for server forwarding, and we’ve scrutinized our options,” read the blog post. “This instant feature doesn’t currently exist in Lost Ark. This service has just been deployed in South Korea and is a weekly batch process that requires maintenance to run. It also doesn’t support cross-region features.
