Tourism is one of the essential parts of the economy in the Valais, bringing in 12 million overnight stays, 8 to 10 million ski days per year, 2400 kilometers of ski slopes, and more than 2000 hours of sunshine per year. As a result, our canton is destined to provide a tourism-related bachelor’s degree program. Students are supervised by lecturers who are involved in both teaching and research and also have the option of receiving training in tourism in German, French, Escort Wallis, or English.

Additionally, multilingualism is crucial: From the second year on, Bachelor of Tourism students can participate in international exchanges and attend lectures in German, French, and English.
